StoryWalk: The Belonging Tree
StoryWalk is a fun physical and educational activity that posts a childrens story (age 4-8) along the parks Oh! Susannah Trail. This seasons featured story is called "The Belonging Tree" by Maryann Cocca-Leffler. The story is about how life changes for a family of squirrels that live in a oak tree on Forest Lane. Find out what happens when one of the young squirrels disagrees with his parents who want to exclude some newcomers from their woodland home.The storywalk was made possible by Mt. Pisgah State Park, The Friends of Mt. Pisgah State Park, The Bradford County Library and Aery Building Supply.
